Have you ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time? You are hiking in the Scottish highlands with three friends when you come across a girl. She is half-naked, has been badly beaten, and she can’t speak English. She is clearly running away from someone. Do you stop to help her? Even if it means putting your friends’ lives – and your own – in terrible danger?
Two young couples, including the self-confident Ash, make a weekend trip to rural Scotland. The four want to escape the everyday madness of London and enjoy the idyll in the woods. During a walk, they meet a naked, completely distraught young woman who stammered for help.
Obviously, she has been mistreated and on the run from her persecutors. The world of young people collapses in one fell swoop. They are alone in the midst of dark forests. There is no connection to the next village. And they suspect that the hunters who are on the heels of the woman can not use witnesses.
Thus begins a bloody, breathless fight for survival – and soon the first dead are left behind. Ash recognizes that there is only one way out for her: she must become as ruthless as her hunters …
