The stories are great, characters are interesting, and the scenario of the aliens and humans rebelling to defend their own and their allies solar systems is quite believable, making this a series worth reading. However, the editing of the entire series leaves a lot to desire.
It follows the foundation brought about by the first four books in the Free Fleet series.
With just one more book to go following From Furies Forged, the series will soon end with a resolution that should make all military sci-fi fans and readers of this authors quite happy.
