The human soldiers stranded on the planet Paradise have been recruited into an Alien Legion, to do the dirty jobs that the high-tech species won’t do. In terms of timeline, the events of Deathtrap occur at same time as Book 7 of the Expeditionary Force, Renegades. Also, the events in this book set up the next book in the Expeditionary Force main series, Armageddon.
